Dr Kanoi regularly features in mass media outlets such as in prominent newspapers and on talk shows for All India Radio where he discusses issues pertaining to Plastic surgery, its scope and misconceptions surrounding the field.
He takes the opportunity to promote the free cleft surgery programme that he is part of, regularly visiting the peripheries and rural areas to raise awareness about the programme. He also holds regular talks with primary health workers and medical practitioners regarding management of burns and trauma at the district level.
